Warranty Period

The Laav Chair is covered by a 1-year limited warranty, starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers material and manufacturing defects that result in structural failure or functional damage under normal indoor use.


What the Warranty Covers

  • Manufacturing or assembly defects identified during normal use
  • Structural failure caused by a proven material or production defect

If an issue occurs, please contact Laav promptly and provide:

  • A short written description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the defect
  • Proof of purchase

Each claim is assessed individually.


What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused during transportation or handling after delivery
  • Normal wear, patina, softening, or aesthetic changes resulting from regular use
  • Natural variations in material tone, grain, texture, or finish
  • Damage caused by improper use, misuse, or neglect
  • Exposure to unsuitable indoor conditions
    (recommended humidity 40–60%, temperature 14–26 °C)
  • Use of incorrect cleaning products or harsh chemicals
    (leather must be cleaned only with mild soap, water, and a soft microfiber cloth)
  • Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications

Maintenance Requirements

Proper care is essential to maintain the quality and longevity of the chair:

  • Clean only as instructed, using mild soap and water
  • Do not use strong cleaning agents or conditioners
  • No additional conditioning products are required

Failure to follow care instructions may void the warranty.


Service Process

If a warranty-related issue occurs:

  1. Contact us by email with photos, a description, and proof of purchase
  2. We will assess whether the issue is covered by warranty
  3. If covered, the product or defective part will be repaired or replaced within a reasonable time

If the issue is not covered, the customer will be informed and may request a paid repair or replacement service.
